With over 30 yours in education, Hospitality, and Hospitality technology, I am passionate about the future of hospitality, focussing on the impact of AI, digital transformation, and sustainability in the industry. I did a master in Digital Business (MSc). My thesis was entitled: "ChatGPT - Generative Artificial Intelligence Ethics in Higher Education - an educators’ perspective." I specialise in Revenue Management and digital transformation. Leveraging my extensive experience, I guide students and professionals to navigate the evolving landscape of hospitality by connecting them with leading innovations and industry insights. A few highlights in my career: - Part of the Start-up team. Setting up operations of Fidelio Software GmbH world-wide (Hong Kong, America, Australia, India) introducing them to Micros POS. They ended up merging to become Micros-Fidelio. - Taj Group of Hotels, India (part of the Tata Group). Developed and executed the blueprint on automating the chain worldwide. Set- up the team, trained them, automated several hotels of which the flag-ship hotel Taj Mahal Mumbai. - SP Networks, distributor of Optims Revenue management systems for the Benelux. - Automated over 150 hotels worldwide with systems such as PMS, POS, F&B, S&C. My goal is to empower, inspire, and motivate, young and mature hospitality leaders. Besides that my hobbies are, travel, food, kung fu, skiing, ballet, dance, scuba-diving, music, and playing piano.
