Tata Crocombe is a seasoned hotel owner with a strong focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance guest experiences, improve operational efficiency, and drive positive outcomes for guests, staff, suppliers, and the community. With a deep understanding of the global hotel value chain, Tata is passionate about harnessing the potential of AI to revolutionize the international hospitality industry. Tata's business career spans investment banking, venture capital, strategic advisory services, as well as investment in the upgrading and transformation of independent resorts. In 1997, Tata acquired The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium, launching a multimillion-dollar capital investment program to upgrade all aspects of the resort. This was followed by the acquisition and upgrade of Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort and Sanctuary Rarotonga - on the beach. Tata has also served as Chairman of the Cook Islands Tourism Corporation and the Bank of the Cook Islands. Additionally, he was a member of the Governing Council of the University of the South Pacific. Tata holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the South Pacific and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. In addition to his professional pursuits, Tata actively supports a wide range of community organizations in the Cook Islands.
