About
My story I wanted to be a police officer when I was little... unfortunately I stayed too little. I wanted to discover the world when I grew up... So my path led me into the tourism industry. I began my training as a hotel manageress and immersed myself in a world that has fascinated and inspired me ever since. During my apprenticeship, I quickly realized how to get the best out of every situation. I learned how to charm guests so that they were not only satisfied, but also happy to leave generous tips. Logically, I needed money to fill my evening with unforgettable experiences. In 2009, I came to Switzerland for a winter season. With a suitcase full of clothes and skis under my arm, I set off on my journey. After that I stayed for the summer season, then winter came again, you guessed it... I'm still here. Eventually I was drawn to the Swiss Hotel Management School in Lucerne, where I discovered my passion for numbers. While accounting seemed too boring for me, I was fascinated by revenue management. (Admittedly, lecturer Wilko Weber infected me with the subject). My analytical skills helped me to quickly familiarize myself with my new professional field. Tinkering with Excel spreadsheets and reading key figures to derive suitable measures became my daily ritual. I love turning the small screws in revenue and distribution management and seeing how they can make a big difference. Even today, I still dedicate myself to tourism with joy and enthusiasm. Complex Excel sheets and reading tourism strategies are sources of inspiration for me. My work in revenue management allows me to live out my passion for the industry every day while making a significant contribution to the success of my clients.
