Now A2A-enabled and discoverable via agent cards, inHotel AI agents can connect directly with other agents; ready to engage on bookings, hiring, operations, and more.
The Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol is an open standard designed to enable seamless communication and collaboration between AI agents. In a world where agents are built using different frameworks and vendors, A2A provides a common language that breaks down silos and fosters interoperability.
Today we’re excited to announce that all inHotel assistants now conform to the A2A protocol v0.3.0.
All hotel AI assistants across roles (GM, Reservations, Revenue, F&B, HR, Housekeeping, Finance, and more) as well as all AI personas of individual people (digital twins) are now:
Example agent cards:
This opens doors for new ways of working, communicating, and solving problems. With A2A, agents can form direct relationships across teams, companies, and even industries.
Here are a few use cases:
And that’s just the beginning.

The Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol is an open standard that enables seamless communication between AI agents, even when those agents come from different vendors or frameworks. In hospitality, A2A lets hotel agents, personal traveler agents, and specialist agents find each other via agent cards, share their skills, and collaborate on real tasks, from answering amenity questions to completing bookings, running virtual decision meetings, or automating candidate screening in recruitment.
Yes. Availability and features vary by vendor, but some hotel tech providers do offer free, basic A2A-capable agents so hotels can experiment quickly. inHotel pioneered A2A support and all inHotel AI assistants across roles (GM, Reservations, Revenue, F&B, HR, Housekeeping, Finance, Events, IT, Marketing, and more) as well as AI personas for hospitality professionals now support A2A.
An agent card, as defined in the A2A protocol, is a machine-readable profile for an agent that helps other agents discover and evaluate it. It typically includes identity information (name, role, organization), a summary of skills, and how the agent can be engaged. For example, a hotel Reservations agent’s skills might include providing amenity information, suggesting availability and rates, taking bookings, and handling changes and cancellations. Agent cards make it fast and reliable for agents to find the right collaborator for a task.
A2A gives hoteliers countless practical gains: traveler agents can discover and engage a hotel's reservations agent for faster, lower-friction guest interactions that could reduce reliance on intermediaries and their commissions; hiring workflows speed up as recruiter agents can discover and screen candidate agents in minutes; GMs can convene internal and external experts quickly for faster, better decisions; departmental agents can automate routine tasks and eliminate manual handoffs to boost efficiency and reduce errors; and specialist communities can share and scale expertise through focused, agent-led discussions.
Today A2A enables traveler agents to find and talk to a hotel’s reservations agent about amenities, availability, pricing, and policies. Complete, secure agent-to-agent bookings are currently at a proof-of-concept implementation stage.
